In 1999 the Federation quebecois du canot and kayak published (in french only) a guide to all the paddling rivers in the province. They also published great detailed guide maps for 50 % of these rivers.
(Their guide for the Dumoine River was first published in 1984)
These two books were the starting point for planning canoe trips in the province (before google maps). They are interesting collectors items now but a good addition to someones library.
Also included is
The book about the life of Paul Provencher considered The Last of the Quebec Coureurs de Bois. This copy translated from french to english from the first french edition. It is a great story of his life in the wilderness of Quebec 1920-1970. Provencher’s photos alone are priceless in this book published 1974
and
my 2002 bilingual waterproof Dumoine River Canoe Guide map and a Friends of Dumoine decal.
The books and map will be mailed to the winning bidder from Chelsea Qc at the bidders expense
