Milverton Lions Club was founded in 1940 and has been active in the community of Perth East ever since.  We do not have charitable status - difficult & expensive for service clubs.

A member of Lions District A15 and Lions Clubs International, we are a service club, fundraising to develop projects and for needy or essential causes within our community, and at District, provincial, national and international level, the last three primarily for humanitarian/disaster-relief purposes.

This auction, the first online auction we've had, forms a significant component of our community fundraising activities.

Presently 30 members strong, our fundraising activities and Club meetings have the twin objectives of fun and serving our community.  New members are always welcome, and initial contact can be made by e-mailing the Club at  milverton@a15lions.org 

We hope to resume in-person meetings soon, COVID-19 constraints permitting and individuals' concerns respected.  In-person meetings are at the Milverton Legion, 24 Temperance Street, Milverton, starting with a social at 6.30pm and meeting with meal commencing at 7.00pm.  Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of a month, July and August excepted, with outdoor barbeques in June and September.  Participation at meetings comes third to family and work, thus no obligation to attend every meeting.
